Andersen handle extension for Frenchwood hinged patio doors.

Technical Information

  • Extension Diameter: 15/16 inch
  • Extension Length: 1 inch
  • Inside Handle diameter: 1/2 inch
  • Important Note: This will not work on the old style Estate Handles with the 11/16 inch diameter.

Notes

  • The extender is often used when space is needed for window treatments.
  • A longer spindle is necessary to accommodate the extender.
  • The standard spindle length is 3 3/4\" for the 1-3/4 inch door panel
  • If using one extender a 4 3/4\" spindle is necessary, If using 2 Extenders use a 5-3/4\" spindle.
  • Bright brass patio door hardware features a ten-year limited warranty on the finish to provide years of enjoyment.
  • Old style Newbury Estate and new style handles are not the same diameter.
  • It will be necessary, to replace the interior handle if Andersen extender is used on older doors
